Recently, bloggers and game journalists have developed a tendency to check the Entertainment Software Rating Board web site for news, since it often contains listings for future games that have yet to be formally announced. The games that pop up on the ESRB page before any place else usually turn out to be of a downloadable nature -- something that can be developed and distributed quicker than most blockbuster retail games. Tomb Raider and Wii finally get acquainted
Eidos Interactive, owners and creators of the highly-lucrative Tomb Raider franchise, has recently announced that a version of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversay is currently in the making for the Nintendo Wii. The game, which will initially be released for PS2 and PC on June 5th, will essentially be a 10th anniversary remake of the first Tomb Raider game, originally developed back in 1996.
