Code: Twisted Metal coming to PS3 (News)

The collective sharp eye of GameFAQ forum members discovered the code that reads: "METAL IS COMING ON PSTHREE."

Eat Sleep Play co-founder David Jaffe, who co-created both the Twisted Metal and God of War series, confirmed the news to Kotaku on Thursday, adding, "as for how it gets distributed [Blu-ray or download], no comment."

In January, Jaffe told GamePro, "Listen, if you want to know what our next game is, it's absolutely revealed if you have a sharp eye in Twisted Metal Head On: Extreme Edition. It's hidden really, really, really well. And just because it's hidden in Twisted Metal doesn't mean it has anything to do with Twisted Metal. That's why it's so well hidden. It's a really cryptic riddle we put in there."

In addition to the Twisted Metal: Head-On port for PS2 and the unnamed Twisted Metal game for PS3, Eat Sleep Play has a deal with Sony to develop at least two more PS3 games.
