Ubisoft graciously announces Beyond Good & Evil 2 (News)

Ubisoft on Wednesday confirmed development for Beyond Good & Evil 2, the sequel to 2003's beloved action-adventure classic.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot unveiled the high-anticipated follow-up at the Ubidays 08 event in Paris, showing a trailer which depicts the return pig-man Uncle Pey'j and main protagonist Jade, who appears to be perched on the hood of a broken down convertible. No other details were divulged.

Despite it poor performance at retail, the original Beyond Good & Evil, released in 2003 for PS2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC, was lauded by critics and gamers alike for its compelling use photojournalist gameplay.
