Sonic Unleashed screens and video leaked online? (News)

A German-based fan site on Saturday published legitimate looking screens and video for what is likely the next Sonic The Hedgehog game.

According to Sega On, close to one hundred screens and one video were published on Sega's FTP site before being removed.

The resolution of said screens and video not only suggest authenticity, but that the images originated from either a PS3 or Xbox 360 build of a still unannounced Sonic follow-up.

Without citing sources, Game On also reports that Sega will fully unveil the 3D sidescroller this May.

The name Sonic Unleashed was trademarked by Sega on March 12, 2008 related to "video game software [and] computer game programs."
