As of today, Virtual Console will have invited three new games to come stay with them in the Wii House forever and ever. The first is the ever popular Super Mario World for the SNES, which requires no introduction, but does, however, require a payment of 800 Wii points.

The second title is the more obscure arcade-to-TurboGrafx 16 port known as Vigilante, which can be all yours for 600 points. This side-scrolling beat-'em-up features a hero that is given the extremely difficult task of rescuing Madonna from a group of New York City thugs. Well, did it ever occur to Mr. Vigilante that Madonna might not actually want to be rescued from those thugs?

And lastly, Gain Ground, the Genesis port of the original arcade action title, can now be bought for 800 points. Set in a futuristic, utopian world, humankind has no need to defend itself, since war and strife have become things of the past - that is, until it has to defend itself from the berserk supercomputer that was originally built to teach them how to defend themselves in the first place! Haha! Irony.
