EA's Need for Speed Underground has roared to the top of the charts in Australia after only two weeks on sale.
The game sits comfortably on top of the all-formats list, as well as being the best-selling game on both PlayStation2 and Xbox for the week ending 30th November.
Somewhat surprisingly, NFS Underground beat out Microsoft's Project Gotham Racing 2 on Xbox (which has had a big advertising campaign and features Sydney tracks). NFS Underground also placed second on the PC charts (behind The Sims Makin' Magic) and third on the GameCube charts (behind Mario Kart: Double Dash and Return of the King).
EA's Medal of Honor: Rising Sun is also selling well, coming in third on both the PS2 and Xbox charts. Tony Hawk's Underground should move into the Top 5 next week, appearing at number 7 on PS2 and number 8 on Xbox after only several days of sales.
