Let us know what you think guys. My take?
Well, Sony has the brands and the technology to still dominate this generation of consoles but I would think consumers are starting to loose the faith. And Microsoft and Nintendo have played their cards perfectly. The Wii is shooting for a whole new demographics and style of gameplay that will appeal to the mainstream market, while Microsoft has some killer titles on the schedule, not to mentions Windows Vista and a thriving online system. But console wars aside, there are positive aspects to the delay. As we experienced with the delayed 360 release last year, when it finally launched in Aus we got a greater range of quality titles and far less teething problems. Hey, we may even get a price cut - don't hold your breath though. |
