Thr first and most powerful of the three machines we ran this game on was a dual core AMD 4800+, 2gig Corsair in dual chan, Radeon 1900XTX - no slouch...

I have an AMD 4600+ X2, 7900GT and ive played noth retail and beta for a long time and the only time it starts to fall under 15 FPS is when theres over 500 units on the screen.

Since in the missions you get a 500 unit limit lag is rarely an issue.

1900XTX ehh ? Maybe you forgot to install drivers for it, that whould explain the lag.

You probably were trying to play it while having FEAR and Oblivion alt-tabbed in the background and a burning a DVD at the same time.

Eighter that or your comp has never been scanned or spyware or simply fcked up.

I can personally testify, as a former Beta participant, that once you get used to how SupCom is different from other games, it really gets fun and begins to shine. Unfortunately, it would appear that you played it for 5 minutes and condemned it.

How about fixing the review, you clearly had some wierd buggy build or some kinda other error.

Theres hundreds of ppl playing it online right not and no1 with a decent comp compains of bad FPS

Ive seen P4 with a geforce 6200 run it at a decent speed in the mission, there is no performance issue, at least not with 99.9999% of peoples retail copys.

Also the new patch added 10% more performance from I gathered

Did you lick a very colour full frog before you did this review ?(if so can I have the name of the frog) and/or did you play the game with WinE on linux or did you just use the shipped drivers that came with the hardware ?
Maybe you shout check to see the name of the gfx card on the box ? dose it look like someone crossed out "Radeon 9200 SE" and wrote 1900XTX with a black pen under it ? if thats the case maybe that would explain your lack of performance.

And you morons, it does give problems with hi-end hardware which I have experienced personally on 5 systems that I own. FX60,E6600,8800GTXs,7900GTX,Ati cards, all with 2gb memory etc etc.
