Hey, who's here has GTA: San Andreas for their PC system? Well if you follow up on the mods for this awesome game you may know about SA-MP.

I was curious as too how many AGP readers are planning on playing this mod when it's released? Got any plans for what you're going to do?

And for those of you who don't have a clue what I'm babbling about ... SA-MP (San Andreas - Multiplayer) is a modification that syncs the single player elements in GTA:SA over a network. It looks to be the first mod to accomplish such good syncing and smoothness as well! It also features an extensive server-side scripting language based on the PAWN/SMALL programming language; I've been messing about with this programming language ever since the "Public Beta #1" was released (Don't worry if you missed it, Public Beta #2 should be out soon followed shortly by release.) with it's 1 man testing server (limited to yourself of course for testing scripts)..

At the moment I'm creating a script based of in The Badlands area of San Andreas which should create hours of random fun.

Here are some links to SA-MP related information;

- http://www.sa-mp.com/ :: Official website. Has a news section, a developers blog AND videos and screenshots.

- http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showforum=204 :: SA-MP forum for asking questions and finding out extra information.

- http://forum.sa-mp.com/ :: Another forum, mostly used for scripting related questions and/or SA-MP suggestions from the Public Beta #1.

PS: New magazine layout is awesome, it looks really fresh and modern.
