It is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. We have taken a look at it in the latest issue - can't wait for it! I rated the N64 version over the Cube, so I hoping for something a little less cluttered this time around.

I read somewhere (unfortunately I don't have a source, so take this with a huge grain of salt) that Brawl would have a slower pace and be easier than Melee. I thought they got the pace just right with Melee and the difficult was spot on. A novice could pick up and play and enjoy it but there was a wealth of things to master, so it could be enjoyed on quite a few levels.

There was also a rumour recently that they were taking out Young Link, Ice Climbers and Game and Watch and replacing them with Wind Waker Link, Ridley and Bowser Jr. Again, grain of salt. Seems to me that a winning formula would be keep all the old characters, give the clones original move sets and add new characters with original move sets. The new characters officially revealed thus far look pretty cool with Wario, Zero Suit Samus (though not exactly a separate character, her suit is removed under certain conditions during gameplay), Meta Knight, Pit and Snake.

Oh, and online as the icing on the cake. Just a thought, perhaps with WiiConnect 24 they could every so often give us a new character.
