Satoru Iwata revelead at the Games Developers Conference in San Francisco that Nintendo's Revolution is backwards compatible with the GameCube.

Guess that means I'll keep my Cube games instead of selling them.

Also, Revolution is Wi-Fi enabled straight out of the box.

I like the fact that the NextGen nintendo will be backwards compatible because all the games release on the NextGen may not be to the standard of Australian (or international) gamers wants. Its all well and good to say that because it is a NextGen console that the games will be better, BUT the developers may produce and create new games, they still MIGHT suck so the backward compatibility is good because good Gamecube games can still be played, instead of becoming obselete.
