The magazine is out..
Usually I buy it as soon as its released (got all the issues up till this issue), but this month I didn't get it.

Why? No DVD or PC-CD: just a poster as an extra. I fully understand that these items cost money, and it may not always be possible to have them. However, it made the magazine a different prospect for me.

Quite frankly the quality of games magazines, considering how many of them there are, can be a little shocking. Especially if there is usually a covermount to take the pressure of the actual mag to not suck.

I prefer a DVD with the mag, and I won't be buying this issue. I prefer to 'see' what is coming out than read info that I can already find else where online.
But i guess a poster is good for the younger readers...or those that like that kind of thing.

I couldn't be bothered buying this month's Gamepro so I just read it all in the newsagent

Click Here, you're a wanker. I must admit I like the DVD on the front too, but it was alwys just a free bonus. I have gotten something with every issue of Gamepro beyond what I paid for, whether is is DVD, game, poster or whatever, which is heaps mor than I get from those other crap multi-format mags. I'm just excited thinking of what I'll get next. and quite frankly, my NFSu chick is looking damn sweet on my bathroom door.

I don't care if they have to raise the price, They only mag I buy that doesn't come with a disc is Edge.

wired is also a worthy mag to get - tho granted not solely for gaming =)

but yeh.. i never look at the disc so it doesn't affect my purchase decision.. i find it a little weird that people think that if there is no cover mount that they're somehow getting 'ripped off'.. its the magazines content that you're paying for!

Not when it comes with a DVD then they take it away.

it never always came with a dvd.. can't remember what the first issue had.. but the second issue had a 'game guide' book - and the dvds only started in the third issue..

I only started buying the mag when they put the DVD on it.
The 1st one came with Driver for PC by the way.
