Has anyone seen Nintendo's head of marketing and sales in America. His name is Reginald Fils-Aime or some such. Trust me, this man is going to reggie-lutionise Nintendo's current standing in the console market. This guy is a real head-kicker. Regg-hammer is bound to get the job done. He came out at E3 2004 and said "I'm about kicking ass". Finally Nintendo has someone who is not afraid to do a bit of marketing.

Maybe he should sort out the mess over here. Nintendo's worst region is here. I have never ever seen an advert for a nintendo product yet. Not on TV, Cinema, or newspapers, only in Nintendo Magazines and the ninty ads a few and far between in them anyway. The last ad on TV I remeber was the Mario Kart one where Tim Ferguson (I Think!) raced the train on his kart and got hurt. That was ages ago!

Really the last I saw was that freaky one for Luigis mansion and one for super smash brothers melee, guess I was lucky in my viewing choices for those evenings.

Were there not some player's choice ads around a couple of months ago when Metroid Prime, Starfox and that got re-released?
I vaguely remember something.

I haven't seen any Player's Choice ads. I remember seeing a Pikmin ad and a Smash Bros. Melee ad and a Gamecube ad but that was two years ago.

I do remember the Tim Ferguson ones for the 64, he rode around on a motorbike pretending to be a snowspeeder for Shadows of the Empire.

Nintendo really do need to some serious marketing in Australia. Cinema ads for crying out loud. If anyone has seen the Alex Proyas commercial for Metroid Prime you know it kicks arse. I really want to see it on a big screen now. I only saw it on the world wide webiverse.

TV ads as well, maybe some competitions. I saw two Gamecube comps. One was on Video Hits two years ago and the other was on SEA FM on the Fat 30 with the Big Kahuna.

Nintendo of Australia, I beg of you do some marketing! Us Nintendo fans are drowning in a sea of Sony with the massive Microsoft waves crashing overhead. Now is the time, Nintendo, to part the seas of the competitors and push them to the sides. With Zelda, Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime 2, Killer 7, Geist and many more, show them that you are indeed the only games company worth worrying about.

Two words. Australian Open. If nintendo became a sponsor it would give them world wide coverage, plus boost its australian base. It needs to target sporting events, tv's and magazines are okay but I say sporting events are the way to go now a days.
