Do you know where I can get a cheap Xbox?

I'm talking about an Xbox consol, one or two controllers, extension cables, and about two games.

The price I'm looking for would be about $230 or less.

I would try electronics boutique first and ask to see if they have any second hand xbox's.. if you don't have any luck their .. trading post would be your next option.. if no luck there .. head to www.ebay.com.au .. and you never know you could pick up a bargain.

It also depends on what you call cheaps Casey, With th eprices of standard Xbox's being around the $AU229 mark at Harvey Normans, soending $AU150 - $AU190+ on say eBay, doesn't make too much sence. Especially when a secodhand unit will have NO WARRANTY whatsoever, which could leave you up the creek without the proverbial paddle as they say.

The little bit extra for a new one is mist certainly worth the effort. I have several Xbox's and watch eBay like a hawk, and I've yet to see a REAL bargain go in there for anythiing less than $AU150.

Think about it carfully before you buy. Need any help, then please let me know.

Ummm.... Merlin 53, I really appreciate you advice and I'll certainly take your waarnings into account. But, D'ya think that you might be able to give me a list of what Xbox's and accessories that might come with the. Also if you could give me a price on them it'd be really helpful considering I might look into buying one of yours, if they're all fine as I need to be absolutly sure of what I'm going to get, since I can't afford to burn any money.

I was just in Target on Wednesday, and they were selling new Xboxes for $199. I think it's just the console + 1 controller.

A few weeks back JB Hi-Fi were selling the same thing for $99. Apparently they sold out in a few hours (all their Canberra stores) and aren't getting any more in. Damn them. Now I can't buy the $199 one cause it seems so expensive.
