can anyone tell me if i should collect for the early release PSP or wait till next year and get a ps3?Why?

I would definetly get both if I could, though im going to save my money for a ps3 and wait till the price drops on the psp. Both are awesome devices, ps3 will have jaw dropping games, and the psp will have ps2 quality graphics. Sony is pricing the launch price for the psp in australia alot more than in the US or Japan, so unless your dying for one I would say wait. Considering that they announced a price drop already for Australia from $430 to $399(don't quote me on that) I think another price drop won't be far behind.

i agree psp a tad expensive at the momnet wait till it goes cheaper...it is will.... ps3 will be expensive too.

im hanging for the psp...omg i cnt wait..who cares that the graphics r only ps2 and wen the ps3 comes out they will be outdated...itl b awesome playing ps2 in compact format...id luv it..dunt hav to sit in front of the tv..but im with u guys..ill definately wait a couple of months..say till november and itl drop in price..!! :):)

Well it seems the ps3 is going to be around the $800 - $900 according to som e reports i've read.

Hey guys im new hear. Iv put my order down for a PsP only because i dont want to wait till after xmas to get one. I hear there is a world wide shortage and if you dont have your orders down you wont get them for ages. Just what i heard. Plus they will also be able to be used as an extra controller for the Ps3.

any1 heard any news about gta on psp?

Sorry to dissapoint you but psp is more like PS1.5 it is not at the level of PS2.I am going to definatly get a PS3 I am unsure about psp though.

nah i no the release date for ps3 its march and itll be $699 but no prob for me my mum owes me $1000

Dudes I have a reason why u should get both. U can play PSP on PS3 and this makes net play on PSP way better. I got a PSP and they r awesome get a PSP and ask for a PS3 for christmas I'm sure your parents won't mind getting 1 for u. If they do, make a deal with them and say no christmas presents next year. It'll be worth the sacrifice. So 2 your answer I say both.

PSP price- $300-400
