Invision Power Board or PHPbb.
OK, i just registerd yesterday, but even i can tell this forum kinda sucks. You need to use Invision power board or maybe PHPbb (Invision Power Board is better). It would allow alot more freedom and ease of use, aswell as all the extra features compared to whatever it is you use now. anyways, it was just a thought...

I agree, I was thinking of creating a topic like this.
PHPbb is free, but IPB is heaps better, you get more freedom.
PHPbb and IPB both allow post editing, which is a great feature for mistakes. blah, blah, blah, I'm sure you guys know about it, ;).
So to sum it up "GET NEW FORUMS!!".

Yay! A reply!!! w00t! It's been ages (relatively speeking) since i posted this. Also, with IPB or PHPbb, you can have proper moderation and other admins, etc.

A topic like this was created quite a few months ago, but no notice was taken of it.

But i do still agree, a better forum will allow for a better community of reader.

No use man .. they don't listen .. time and time again i've told them to update their forums.

They suck. This doesn't even deserve being called a forum. It might classify as one. but it sucks. We need PHPbb or IPB...NOW!!!

Ahh, yes, I remember that thread...Many ideas were thrown around...many good ideas, yet none of them were taken up.

I'd like to see this forum to be the same layout and have the same features as VBulletin (I think that's it). It's the type of forum that is used at this site, www.zeldauniverse.net/forums, just for an example.

IPB is better...

Even my forums are better than this :(. Sorry to say, but these forums suck. Just install a phpBB or vBulletin, if you don't want to pay for IPB.

Shouldn't take much work to set up phpBB infact it'll take no work at all.

PHPbb or IPB i think. vbulletin is OK, but i prefer IPB, or failing that, PHPbb.
