Voice Over IP. ITs an internet protocol, used to transmit voice over the internet, as to what i know. Much more efficient than your regular IP

Hmm I don't think it has been tested enough by major telecommunications companies. So not sure when it will come out.

I had a quick look at it and I don't think it will help me.

2 maybe 3 phones, a fax and a broadband connection is all I need.

You should go ISDN if you need all of that, with ISDN you have heaps of lines on the one big fat cable.
