Subject Title - " Dante In SC3? "

I heard that Devil May Cry's Dante would be appearing in the upcoming Soul Calibur 3 (apparently Capcom borrowed Namco's SC2 engine for a boss fight in DMC3), but then I heard that they weren't going to have guest characters feature again. What's going on?
