Sonic's return to 2D on consoles is coming along a bit slower than expected. Sega delivered the news today on the company's official blog, stating that Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will be coming out "in late 2010," as opposed to the summer released promised at the time of the game's announcement. With classic video games like The Sims and Spore under his belt, Will Wright is devoting his creativity to a form of media that truly needs it -- reality television. IGN recently learned that Wright will be helping produce a program called The Creation Project, in which viewers will be able to submit their story ideas, discuss them, and vote for a favorite. The winner will have their idea turned into two half hour episodes. The amount of episodes devoted to discovering the idea has not been disclosed, nor has the network that the program will air on -- though Current is listed as an affiliate for the project.
