It wasn't even two months ago that Courtney Love led a tirade against Activision for including her late husband, Kurt Cobain in Guitar Hero 5. It seems as though the company hasn't learned its lesson as the LA Times reports (found via NeoGAF) that Hero, released this week, has earned the ire (and a lawsuit) from the members of No Doubt, who are angered by the fact that the band members can be used to play songs that the band never performed, saying the game allows for performances that are "wholly inappropriate and out of character for No Doubt".
G4TV found an article on Critical Gamer teasing its upcoming interview with Media Molecule's Martin Lynagh by including some choice quotes about the possibility (or lack thereof) of a LittleBigPlanet 2. With their work on two of Sony's most prized franchises--Ratchet & Clank and Resistance--Insomniac has made a name for developing well-received, good-looking games. The company has reached that end in two very different ways, creating bright environments with cartoony characters moving at 60 frames per second (fps) for the former and more action-filled scenes at 30 frames per second in more subdued environments for the latter.
Yesterday PC World attended the eGames Expo 2009 at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. The PlayStation 3's DLC, however, will be free for the first two weeks when it releases on November 5, with the price shifting to $5 on November 19.
